Welcome to the world of books. Well, it's not the biggest place for books, but here on this awesome website. I really got into books when I started to sell my house and prepare to be on my own. I needed an escape. Now, I am addicted, some would say. My goal in 2024 was to read 10 books before the end of the year. I made that goal!

While on my reading journey, I am starting to learn what genres I enjoy the most and genres I will probably never touch again, cough, cough Splatterpunk. Please feel free to share what genres you enjoy and what your least favorite is. As of right now I love a dark romance with either an age gap or a forbidden romance because who said y'all can't be together! My least favorite genere is splatterpunk. I am not here to yuck anyone's yum, it's just not a genre for me. I love horror as a genre, but that is a whole different level of horror. Please read at your own risk.
